Victoria Toscano

Hi! I’m a therapist who believes that healing and growth often happen when we connect more deeply with ourselves, others, and the world around us. My journey has included two years of world travel, where I had the privilege of living alongside people from many cultures and backgrounds. These experiences deeply shaped my understanding of human resilience, connection, and the universality of our emotional lives.

As a therapist, I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief. My approach is mindful, holistic, and culturally sensitive, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, breathwork, and relaxation techniques. Clients often describe me as empathetic, encouraging, and supportive, and I strive to create a space where people feel safe to explore their experiences and move toward meaningful change.

I strive to create a compassionate space where people can reconnect with themselves, develop practical tools for change, and move toward a more meaningful and balanced life.

My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped not only by professional training but also by lived experiences across cultures and communities. Spending two years traveling around the world allowed me to experience many places not as a tourist but as a member of local communities. Through friendships, shared daily life, and exposure to diverse customs and languages, I came to appreciate how deeply connected we all are through our common hopes, struggles, and emotional experiences.

One particularly meaningful chapter of my journey took place in India, where I completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training and spent time studying meditation and breathwork at a monastery in the Himalayas. During that time, I also worked with the LHA Charitable Trust Institute for Social Work, supporting Tibetan refugees as they transitioned into new communities through guidance, empowerment, and advocacy. These experiences reinforced my belief that compassion, presence, and cultural humility are essential components of meaningful support and healing.

In my therapeutic work, I bring together these life experiences with evidence-based approaches. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness practices, breathwork, muscle relaxation techniques, creative writing, and humanistic principles to help clients develop practical tools while also exploring deeper personal meaning. My goal is to help clients feel understood, empowered, and capable of creating change in their lives.

At the heart of my work is a commitment to compassion, authenticity, and respect for diversity. I believe that people flourish when their uniqueness is valued and when they are supported in exploring their own paths to growth. Outside the therapy room, I continue to nurture my curiosity about the world through travel, connecting people with shared interests, and spending time in nature.
