Welcome! As a licensed therapist, I am here to provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Whether you’re facing challenges from trauma, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, relationship issues, or just seeking personal growth, therapy can help you gain clarity, develop coping strategies, and create positive change in your life. Together, we’ll work to uncover your strengths, navigate obstacles, and build the resilience you need to thrive. I'm here to support you every step of the way.
Together we can work through life's challenges and build the resilience needed to lead a more balanced, fulfilling life.
I integrate evidence-based therapeutic approaches to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to best align with my client’s goals for treatment. We can work together utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). In addition to those conventional practices, I also specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) with treating clients experiencing a variety of challenges.
EMDR is based on the idea that trauma can overwhelm the brain's normal processing mechanisms, causing the memory to get "stuck" and remain emotionally charged. By reprocessing the memory with bilateral stimulation, the brain can integrate the memory more adaptively, reducing its negative emotional impact. EMDR can be a relatively quick and effective way to address trauma, with some people seeing significant improvements after only a few sessions.
